Once described by Miranda Hart as “Such Fun,” Tom has built a strong reputation as an outstanding and trusted host & performer, with audiences ranging from 200 – 2000 in number.
His work has featured on BBC TV and Radio, and a full-page article in The Times Newspaper. Formally a presenter on Konnect Radio, Tom is currently writing his first book, ‘Live Well, Dream Big, Laugh Often’, which explores how to live with purpose, take bold action, and create joy in everyday life.
Over the years, Tom has had the chance to spend time with several of his comedy heroes, including Milton Jones, Joe Pasquale, and Al Murray. He counts these moments as pivotal, learning from some of the most established and respected names in British comedy. Their advice and example continue to shape his own work both on stage and off.

Q: How does Tom host a typical awards night?
Tom is flexible to the needs of your event but here’s how he would generally work at an awards ceremony: Welcome/Opening Performance (15-20 mins) – Packed full of laughter, tricks & audience participation to kick things off. This enables Tom to build outstanding rapport – the perfect transition into the role of host.
Q: What tricks will Tom perform?
It depends on the event but you can be assured of big laughs, wow factor & audience participation. Whether it’s swallowing a fully inflated modelling balloon, flipping spoons into cups, phoning a random mobile number for a card trick, or throwing a glass of water around his head, every routine is designed to engage the audience without the risk of offence or discomfort.
Q: How long is Tom available for on the day?
Tom arrives 2-3 hours prior to the event starting time. You then have his full attention until his role is complete. This allows plenty of time to discuss the running order, logistics and any last minute changes to ensure everything flows smoothly on the night. Tom will also attend a tech rehearsal to work with your AV team and ensure everyone is happy before we kick off.
Q: Does Tom need an autocue?
A: Not at all. Tom is always prepared with a printed script. Tom has seen autocue systems fail moments before the awards presentation, so if you are looking to save budget, Tom is familiar and well prepared with a good old paper script! (Plus, it’s much easier to edit on the fly if needed)
